Catalpa bignonioides is a handsome, spreading tree which grows quickly with beautiful heart-shaped leaves that are held horizontally. The short panicles of creamy flowers in July and August are bell-shaped with frilly edges and are sometimes likened to foxgloves. After flowering, it produces very long slender black pods that hang on the tree for months.
This Catalpa Tree is supplied in a 10 litre container suitable for planting all year round. The total height of this half standard tree is approximately 1.5-1.8m (5-6ft).
