A female variety of laurel with big handsome glossy leaves covered in yellow blotches, this plant is tolerant of adverse conditions and manages to do well in dank or dry shade. It positively flourishes when given a more amenable site. The variegated plant was the first Aucuba to be introduced to the west and is a well known feature of the Victorian shrubbery.
This shrub is supplied in a 3 litre container for year round planting.
