Acer palmatum 'Atropurpureum' is the most popular of the Japanese maples and can be a large shrub or small tree, has bronzy purple leaves which turn a strong red in autumn. Small purple-red clusters of flowers are succeeded by red-winged seeds in late summer. The Japanese maple is ideal for someone wanting a colourful addition in their garden.
This Japanese Maple is supplied root balled in a large 10 litre container. The total height from the ground is approximately 1m-1.2m.
